How to arrive by car:

From Bariloche you can depart to the North and after about 20 kms. you will find the road to Villa La Angostura which is about 70 kms from this point. This road is all paved and has a wonderful view of all the Nahuel Huapi lake’s coastline. From the North, along the 7 Lakes road where you can drive from San Martín de los Andes: from there you will have approx.110 kms. along the mountain lakes with beautiful landscapes.

Frontier Passes:

The Pass Cardenal Samoré (former Puyehue) is located at 1,314 metres above sea level, and is open all the year. It is considered as the second most important pass at the national level, and has direct communication with Puerto Mont (distant 220 km) and Osorno (distant 117km) through the Chilean Carretera Austral and with all the rest of the Chilean Patagonia. The road is completely asphalted. It is an important comercial pass so the traffic is quite intense.
